Welcome and Vision

Welcome from the Head of School

'Encourage one another and build each other up’

1 Thessalonians 5:11

On behalf of the staff, governors and directors, I would like to welcome your family to Bisham C of E Academy which is part of the Ashley Hill Multi Academy Trust.

As a new Head, I am thoroughly looking forward to developing the school further, by drawing on 18 years experience in the education system and working closely with the whole school community. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for your kind messages, support and guidance so far.

Bisham C of E Academy is situated close to the River Thames and benefits from spacious grounds and beautiful surroundings. You cannot help but be impressed by the natural beauty of the setting.  We are a one form vertical entry school which admits children from Reception age to the end of Year 6. Staff have high aspirations for the children and plan an ambitious curriculum that is scaffolded where necessary and dives deeper when needed, enabling the children to love, learn, achieve and succeed.  Supporting children with developing good learning behaviours and high attendance levels are an important part of learning success here at Bisham. We ask that you work with us to ensure the best outcomes for your child and commit to the Parent Agreement.

We have a wonderful Parent Teacher Association who give up their time to raise funds for the school through a variety of events. If you have a little bit of time to spare, why not come along, make some new friends and see how you can support the life of the school.

School can be busy for both teachers and parents. We want your family to engage with us and make the most of your school experience. Our website contains a lot of information for you and your child but if you are not sure about something just ask. We aim to answer your questions as quickly as possible.

I wish you all a successful academic year.

Our Vision

‘Encourage one another and build each other up’

1 Thessalonians 5:11

Our vision is deeply rooted in the biblical wisdom and Christian teaching of loving each other, encouraging and building each other up to achieve ones very best.

Staff and pupils come together as one family to celebrate each other’s uniqueness, accomplishments, talents and gifts regardless of cultural, social, religious, economic or ethnic background. Every child is encouraged by the leadership, staff, parents and their peers to discover and grow their God-given talents and gifts to their fullest potential. We are a school family that believe by encouraging, inspiring and building each other up, we secure the best outcomes for every member of our school community.
