WELCOME TO YOUR PTA!  

Bisham's Parent Teacher Association (“PTA”) plays a valuable role in building social links between the school and families.  The PTA is active in organising fund raising for the school.  Beyond direct monetary support, we provide a network that enables families to get involved in school life to make a difference to the quality and variety of activities that the school can offer.

BUT it is much, much more than just fundraising!  The PTA exists to provide closer links between home and school, and it is an excellent way to bring staff, parents and friends together socially in support of the school working towards a common goal.  And it’s fun - just ask any of the PTA Committee or helpers!  In bringing the parents, staff and local community together, our PTA has always succeeded in its efforts and allows us all to have fun even during the sometimes hard work.

Events take time and effort to put together, so please consider joining in and helping. There is no requirement to attend all meetings, just do as much as you would like to. All efforts will be gratefully received. We keep in touch via your class rep and minutes are uploaded to the school website. 

Minutes of meetings will be taken by the secretary and approved by the committee. These will then be available from the committee in request. Sub-groups may be formed to organise specific events and they will choose how to manage their communication .
